Sang Min Lee - Piano School Mannheim

Sang Min Lee was born in 1981 in Daegu, South Korea, and learned the basics of piano playing at the age of four. Three years later, she gave her first concert and won second prize at the Daegu Municipal Children's Music Competition in 1989. In 1990, Sang Min intensified her studies with the help of Prof. Yoon at K. M. University in ??? . From 1992 to 1994, she took lessons at Halla Music School and learned from international pianists. A year later, Sang Min won first prize in the South Korean National Competition and gave a highly acclaimed prize concert. Her studies at the Mannheim Music Academy brought the young South Korean to Germany in 1998. After five years of intensive study, she graduated as a music teacher in piano in 2003. At the same time she gave numerous piano recitals, chamber music recitals and recitals in Mannheim, Heidelberg, Ludwigshafen, Mainz and Frankfurt. Since 2004, Sang Min has been teaching piano and at the same time attending postgraduate artistic studies in Mainz. In 2013 she fulfilled her big dream - her own piano school.
